I have a Wyse 1125 that is using the default GW as the IP address. Obviously it is a duplicate and it is shutting down my network since it is the internal interface of my firewall.
The IP is not in the SCOPE at all for DHCP and it just started today and I have used the same client for 2 years fine.

I noticed under DHCP it had BOOTP listed. I haev never nopticed that before. Not sure if it is related. i have no BOOTP set up on my W2K DHCP server.

Any thoughts?
Matt

PS Works fine when I use a static IP but I do not want this issue to grow

Which server did the thin client grab a DHCP lease from?

Sounds like you have a rogue DHCP server somewhere. Probably someone has plugged in a wireless router somewhere...
